Michael Thomas has been a valued member of the Parkland Carpet One team since fall 2020, bringing a strong background in sales along with extensive hands-on experience in construction and home renovations. His well-rounded knowledge allows him to guide customers with practical insight and confidence. Outside of work, Michael is passionate about sports—playing on multiple ball teams and running his own—and is a former University of Regina Rams player. Known for his dedication both on the field and in the workplace, Michael is a dependable team member who takes pride in delivering quality results.
Account Manager
Some of Jessica's childhood play time was spent climbing over rolls of carpet. She never thought her future would again one day involve so much flooring. Instead of climbing over rolls of carpet she's managing the information train that crosses her desk ensuring the company stays tip top.
Operations Manager
Matthew is our Operations Manager, a role with countless moving parts—and he handles them all with expertise. With over 30 years at Parkland, Matthew brings unmatched experience to the team. Despite his smaller stature, he leads operations with the strategic brilliance of Napoleon.
Office Administration
Komalpreet Kaur is the quiet force making sure the numbers behave and the office stays in line.
As the Excel expert, she’s the one everyone comes to for sorting, filtering, and “quick fixes” that somehow take two minutes when she does them. She is Soft-spoken, sweet, and always polite but deadly accurate. Komalpreet lets the spreadsheets do the talking.
If it’s organized, priced right, and actually makes sense, Komalpreet has already been there.
Accounts Payable and Administration
Arlene has been a part of the Parkland team for over a decade and she likes to keep things fun, try new things, and not take life too seriously. She has a talent for overthinking simple things but it's always 100% good vibes. But exercise caution when you're in her realm of the organization because she's serious about maintaining order.

Randy is Parkland’s knight in shining armor, always ready to step in during any flooring emergency. Known for his friendly smile and calm, solution-focused approach, Randy helps customers feel at ease while resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Warehouse Associate
Kyle is an essential part of the warehouse team, working hard to keep everything organized and running efficiently. Standing at 6' 4", he’s often called upon to help reach those top shelves for his vertically challenged coworkers.
Lead Delivery
Rob is our lead delivery specialist and the engine that keeps the warehouse running smoothly. He ensures all orders are accurate and on time, playing a key role in day-to-day operations. Outside of work, Rob is an avid softball player and is always ready to jump into a game when needed.
Estimator
With over 20 years in the flooring industry, Daniel brings experience, precision, and a genuine passion for the trade to every project. As an estimator, he focusses on making the process clear and comfortable- someone you can trust and feel at ease welcoming into your home.
President
Jamie is the President of Parkland Carpet One and has been with the company for over 20 years. He began his career in sales, building strong, lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues. Step into Jamie’s office and you’ll quickly notice his slight Star Wars obsession—along with his ongoing (and unsuccessful) campaign to have everyone call him “Supreme Emperor.”
